Business English
This course is 8 hours per week and designed for professionals who need to use English at work, or for those students who want to take Cambridge BEC (Business English Certificate) exams or the TOEIC (Test of English International Communication) exam. These exams are designed to show that successful students who pass the exams are ready to work in an English-speaking business environment.
The tests are internationally recognised by companies looking for excellence in English.
If there are particular topics or vocabulary you need to cover in your business, after an initial meeting we can design a course especially for you. On our
courses we use real-life case-studies and power-point presentations to teach you the most important aspects of Business English, including the language of:
- Meetings
- Presentations
- Negotiating
- Team Building
- Customer Service
- Marketing
- Cultural Differences and Etiquette
- Job Interviews
- Arrangements
You will be given the opportunity to use new and essential vocabulary in role-plays, business correspondence and presentations. The focus remains on reaching
the highest level of English possible, so that you can be confident in any business environment. As well as the business element of the course, General
English skills such as rhythm, intonation and stress in pronunciation are always monitored and improved, so that you can communicate your ideas as clearly as
possible.
Combined Course
Students can also do an 18 hour per week Combined course of General English (10 hours) plus Business English (8 hours).
